Mr. Robert Corker

Bob was the managing partner in the Cincinnati office. His more than 20 year career with Scheuer Mackin includes representation before the Ohio Industrial Commission, the Bureau of Workers Compensation, Courts of Common Pleas, and the Ohio Supreme Court.

Bob had extensive experience in workers’ compensation reform, particularly in the area of workers’ compensation and the professional athlete. He was lead counsel in a number of precedent setting decisions on workers’ compensation issues in both the Appellate Courts of Ohio and the Ohio Supreme Court. Bob was also frequently retained to represent employers in premium and self-insurance disputes with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. A popular speaker for a variety of trade organizations and businesses, he also contributed articles for the Workers’ Compensation Journal of Ohio.

Bob was a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the National Football League’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Panel.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Northwestern University School of Speech and was a 1982 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law.

Bob’s significant professional accomplishments are only surpassed by his impact as a husband, a father and friend. He spent the majority of his time and passion with his family – serving as his children’s grade school basketball coach, working with their school’s parish council, and directly supporting each of his children’s personal and professional development. He never missed a game, performance, career day or graduation.
